Minor Problems (Newbie questions)

Yes I know I'm asking far too many questions, but I just want my baby to be perfect. So if anyone could explain to me how to fix the following:
1. My horn is broken. I know its a bad soder joint, but I'm not sure where exactly. If anyone has a picture I'm definitely a visual learner and I know how to use a sodering iron so thats not a problem.
2. All of the rubber seals on the outside of my windows, under the hood and so on are drying out and cracking. Do I have to go to a shop to get all of this corrected? How much do you think it would cost?
3. I need to get my sunroof to open all the way up. It pops upwards but doesn't slide backwards. I read somewhere that there is a spindle to manually open it but I can't seem to find it.
edit: oh and what are some symptoms that your PD needs immediate replacement?

Thanks,
Dave

The horn relay is in the CPU module by the driver's left ankle.
The solder joints that give trouble are where the connector pins join the board.
Also the relay contacts can be cleaned with a thin strip of auto body sand paper (>300).

Rubber seals, trim, & hoses can be preserved with silicone tire shine, unless they are too far gone.
If they are really bad, consult with a body shop.

Normally you can smell a fuel leak well before it’s bad enough to catch fire.
I’m talking hours, not weeks.

I have a mirror copy of the pdf’s of the Factory Service Manuals (FSM) at the link in my sig below.

Thanks man. I'm also trying to figure out how to get my sunroof working again. I read somewhere that there is a spindle to manually crank it open with, but I'm stupid and can't seem to find it. Is it under the headliner?

3. You probably just need to clean and lubricate the tracks. The manual open is right behind the actual sunroof. You will see a circle cap like 6 inches behind it, pop that off and use a big allen key to turn it.
4. PD- just replace it to be safe. There is a screw inside that is probably alread eased out, and if the rubber part inside rips, it leaks gasoline all over your exhaust and say bye.... If you smell gas or see any gas it probably needs replacement.

1. Located under the dash under the driverside kickpanel is a little black box...this is the CPU unplug the three wiring harnesses going to it, remove it using a 10mm socket...Next open it up and resolder the broken solder joints...then reinstall! Under the panel are the cruise-control box and the CPU (and the fuse block)!
2. FOR the PD if it is leaking or if the screw under the plastic cap has come out replace it....You cold however just replace it and be done with it; after 16 years that thing is soon to fail someday!!!As for the seals look in the junkyards for some of the seals, also try ebay, mazdaformance.com, the dealer, Victoria british.com(order catalog and find parts there), and maybe the rest of the web!!!

Go to www.iluvmyrx7.com and download the chapters of the Factory Service Manual you require. In this case get the Wiring Diagrams and Body Electrical chapters. All the info you need is in there.

You should eventually download the whole FSM. Many of the questions regularly asked here are answered in there, particularly regarding trouble-shooting and repairs.

I haven't checked the FSM yet for this and I'm a semi-hurry to get out the door, so I figured if it isn't in there I should get the ball rolling before I leave.
Does anyone know the dimentions for the upper and lower radiator hoses? I need to replace mine pretty soon.
