Smile Mild Street Port

Gotta some questions for you guys.

When you street port a motor, what needs to be adjusted on the car if anything, specifically the idle??
Will the car run rich with a street port?
How do you lean a rich running motor?

Any advice???

I would think to really tune your engine to work good with your port you would need a stand alone computer. Something like a Haltech or an SDS unit(my personal favorite, its inexpensive and does everything I need it to do).

You can run ported on stock computer
I would guess some fuel upgrades would be necessary.

My car is in my sig-
Without some of the mods, I would be fine with the stock fuel system, but with everything else I have, and more things to come, (hehehe- evil grin....) I am leaning out at high RPMS.
If you stick to just intake, exhaust, and a port, you should be OK, but 550 CC secondaries might be a good idea
I have a TII fuel pump and 4 550 cc injectors waiting to go in, just have to get a fuel computer. S-AFC, I don't want my mileage to go down more than it is.
Mild port on a series 4/5 engine only adds about 15% more power.

The computer, sensors, controller and wiring harness cost about $800 +/-. This is a true stand alone unit meaning you don't have to have a laptop computer to make changes to it. The hand held controller is easy to use. Since the SDS EM-3 D doesn't control ignition you need to convert your car to electronic distributor from an 81-85 12A. It sounds a little backwards to put distributor on a fuel injected 13B but it works very good. A used distributor and some new coils will cost $100 give or take some.
