MIL bulbs out or not working

Got a 1990 fc just bought, tried taking it to smog as buyer had it pass previously to have it fail to “MIL not working” .

I am still very new to working on cars but so far I’ve tried manually triggering engine light by unplugging maf sensor with no luck. I then decided to pull out MIL and check bulbs, the only bulb that turns on ever is the airbag light as I bought it with them removed and a new steering wheel installed. I tried switching the bulb to a different indicator and the light still turned on in the other slots but the rest didn’t turn on.

Is this just the case of faulty bulbs that need to be replaced? If so where can I get the replacement bulbs and if not what are some possible solutions or troubleshooting methods?

I appreciate any help you all are able to provide and I’m willing to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

When you initially turn the key to the "ON" position, the lights in the idiot cluster should illuminate as part of a bulb check.

The idiot light cluster uses these tiny bulbs: #74 (T5) sub-miniature bulbs

After the yellow check engine light (CEL) is verified to be working, you can pull trouble codes, if any, by following this procedure: https://fc3spro.com/TECH/HOWTO/ERROR...KI/kerror.html
