they are garbage.

fabric sucks, flimsy fiberglass and carbon fiber shell's, the brackets and sliders are weak.

my brother has owned a set of them, so i do have first hand experience.

i have also read about a fiber glass set breaking in an accident....i guess the fiberglass shell broke where the mount attaches to the side of the seat, causing a back injury in the accident.

bottom line....good idea for a show car, horrible idea for a street or track car.

That's disappointing. So are you saying the CF one was part fiberglass or just that they're both bad? Which one did your brother have?

For what it's worth, it seems like the fabric with a lot of discounted seats is poor as I've heard similar things about F1spec's cloth and Eurojet. Honestly, whatever seats I get I was going to reupholster them in alcantara or leather anyway.

the carbon fiber ones are fiberglass, with a layer of carbon over them.

he had the blackcloth , fiberglass bucket ones, not the reclinable ones.

they are cheap *** taiwanese made seat's..they may have FIA approval now, but they didnt have them for the first few years memoryfab was selling them.

im guessing they had a lawsuit, or were scared of having a lawsuit.

im no expert though...just sharing my first hand experience, and what i have seen/read on other forum's, and local meets.

I got an F1Spec years ago for $170+shipping...

Still working pretty good... although I had to modify it for better seat clearance (drilled and tapped new bolt holes). I also spent like $150 on Bride seat rails.
