WI Wiring harness fix?

Just pulled the 13b out of my 86gxl for the purpose of rebuilding. I followed the shop manual, and must say that i still had a hell of a time getting the harness removed and out of the way.

At any rate, The harness is showing a lot of signs of wear and tear. I am curious if there has been some aftermarket effort to make the harness more resilient, or just plain neater? It would pain me to put this thing back on the car after a fresh rebuild, with the wire insulation cracked and peeling.

Thanks in advance.

un/rewrap it. new harnesses are pretty damn expensive. i havent seen any companies making replacement harnesses for much cheaper than a new one.
