Mech./Structural Differences Between Convertibles and Coupes

I was just curious as to what the mechanical and structural differences between the coupe and the vert are. I'm looking into buying a vert in the near future, and would like to use some of the spare aftermarket parts I have laying around (such as Cusco Zero-2 coilovers ) and so I also need to know what parts are not interchangable from coupe to convertible.

Thanx

Cam

Verts have alot more siffening supports, especially around the rear subframe area

The floor and rockers are made of thicker metal, about twice as thick as a coupe. Also extra bracing behind the seats the whole width of the car. Suspension interchanges but some headers may not because of an extra subframe up front.

I don't know, ours is a race car so it has one now if it didn't before. I think it had one though, we had a stub axle break once and we threw a diff that we had laying around in the car. I have not torn the original one apart yet but I'm pretty sure its an LSD.

I wonder why Mazda went through all the trouble of beefing up the vert suspension (sway bars etc) and skipped out on the LSD
