Is the MECH OMP Linkage different between TII and NA???

I yanked the Mech OMP off of my NA and went to install it on my S4/5 TII engine and the Metal rod which connects to the TB doesn't seem to fit correctly.

Are these rods different shapes/lengths??????

If this part is really expensive then I might get a block off plate and go premix even though I REALLY don't want to.

If I did block it off Do I just get some bolts to seal the oil injector holes or just cap them?

well since the N/a and TII TB's sit in completly different positions my bet is that they are different or you have a bent linkage or rod.

Yeah that's what I'm guessing as well. The TB link point is about 3-4 inches off and the NA line is hitting my OMP lines when I try to connect it.

Is that what that small metal rod is coming up to the TB with a cotter pin in it is?

Should this thing be lose? Mine is pretty damn lose and I couldn't figure out what the hell it is....Obvously it moves with the TB but i mean I can jingle it around a bit even while its connected.

Not to jack the thread, I just want to make sure my motor is getting its meter'd oil, im sure you'll understand.

All S4 linkages I have seen are loose. If they were made to be still or motionless the linkage would probably be more sturdy than a cotter pin.

I would assume they should be loose since they don't move in a linear way. It's kind of sweeps up and over and the rod is bent in odd ways. As long as you have the pin and the shims in you are ok.

The FSM had a thing about having the bottom being so high and something about shims(little washers) to get the right height.

I am going to call mazdatrix to see if I can get a TII one.

Mazdatrix doesn't sell them so I am contacting Mazdaformance hoping they will have it.

The part number I found for it was 14-6511 but that was the part number for BOTH NA and TII.
