mazdatrix endlinks

im a moron and cant figure out the instructions that came with the mazdatrix endlinks...

from what i can make out you put four of the supplied spacers on the control arm side, two on each side of the endlink.... but what about the endlink side that goes to the sway bar, do i use any spacers there? thanks

I would say yes, so that the flat part of the bar doesn't come into contact with the housing of the endlink and cause it to bind.

Yes, you use the spacers (one on each side of the link). The instructions that come with it even show you the correct way to put the spacers on (one side is beveled, the other side is not).

Huh, it was to my understanding you could not use those endlinks on S5 control arms.

You sure that is going to work right?

Edit....

I was wrong. Scratch that.

Wow, so that's what a suspension looks like when you don't have an oil leek...

Must be nice to have a S4. Us S5 owners have to use the original "plastic dog bone" end links. Wish mazdatrix/RB made one for us.

Ummm, they do! Click here and see for yourself. They state is as 86-92, AND they say they've replaced some on the 89-92 cars already.

What's that silver thing? Some sort of extender for the suspension arm? Or is that normal on the S4?

Do you know what advantages there are to going with this setup? How was the install procedure?

how much more steering angle did you acquire with these tie rod ends, and how would you rate the quality of the ball joint in terms of durability?
