mazdatrix brake calipers

im in need of rear brake calipers because my E-brake doesnt work what so ever. the cable is fine its just that the caliper's internal workings are frozen. the local shop wants $712.** to do the job and i was looking around for a cheaper price and i found that mazdatrix sells rebuilt rear calipers for $173.** a piece so with 2 rebuilt calipers and SS brake lines the total comes to around $340. but what i was wondering is. is there a place that i can get the calipers cheaper? and has neone delt with rebuilt "stuff" from mazdatrix? is it a good quality rebuild?

I have seen people sell used brake calipers on here for like $50. I would look for some used ones definitely. Check with mazdarecycling.com and thepartstrader.com and on here.

if you wanna go the cheap route go to your local auto store.....aka discount auto parts, pep boys, auto zone etc they should sell loaded calipers (calipers with pads )cheaper .sometimes they will carry a lifetime warranty!

they are mazda rebuilt calipers .....in other words the seal for the piston has been changed and the cylinder honed out !

Remanufactured rear calipers should be around $63 each at an auto parts store.
