Max Boost

I have a t2 all stock internals 3"full racing exhaust ported turbo manual boost control ,bov, stock i/c,8mm wires,ngk 115 sparkplugs, hks tubo timer, hks boost gauge,.Now i'm adding safc,walbro pump,680cc secondaries ,a/f gauge,
What do you think is the highest boost i can run safely if i decided to race somebody.

you really shouldn't be running over 10 with the stock IC, but you could probably run 12 after tuning it right. anything over 12 on the stock turbo is pointless.

make sure you get it tunned.. just because you have the stuff doesn't make it safe.

Thanks for the info ,Just wanted to add that i have a different turbo,its not like a t04 or something like that but,my engine is a
j spec and when i bought it i found that it had a diff turbo
its an hitachi but the exhaust part is huge and it doesnt have the twin scroll that the old use to have.Do you guys know this turbos and are they better or are they the same .

I disagree ... with the safc, walbro, and 680's you could get away with around 300 rwhp which would be 14-15 psi. The stock turbo will make good boost up to 15 psi or so, anything higher and it runs out of steam. But running with the stock IC is a little dangerous. If it blows, don't blame me

I Agree with Boostd 7.

My old FC had stock primaries/secondaries with the S-AFC and a rp comp fuel pump. I ran that engine with my stock turbo(car was an '87 with '89 turbo/manifold)at full boost for a year(and I don't drive like a grandmother either) and that engine ran sweet!!!
