Master brake Cylinder heat shield Has anyone every made one?

Hello there folks has anyone ever made a Master brake heat shield for the FC? With or without the Level zero motorsports MBC brace? Any pictures ? Building a street/ track car and look for creative ways to get it done.

The OEM brake master cylinder is mounted in a position that it is not exposed to radiant heat from the headers. Therefore, there isn't any point to a heat shield unless you converted to a transverse-mount piston engine with a header mounted near the brake cylinder. A heat shield will have no significant effect on convective heat inside the engine bay.

If you are racing on the track and notice a brake fluid boiling problem, then be sure to use a good quality fluid. See the chart in the link below. Also, make sure you are using the correct pads for your racing event, and ensure they are vented properly.

Also, an aftermarket pedal box helps keep the fluid cool and it also negates the need for an overpriced bling brace, although you may not want to go through this trouble and expense unless you are building a very serious track car.

Absent evidence that the MC is getting too hot, it'd be just as useful to knit it a sweater.
Way more creative, too.

the drift kids use elastic wrist bands over the reservoir, but i suspect it is more to prevent fluid from spilling than an actual heat cushion.

like this:

not like i've ever failed to tighten a master cylinder cap... if you can't do that then what else is going to fall off the car! could also just be a trend to make the engine bay look cleaner, not as if this helps much. most of the time they're filthy from collecting dirt in the engine bay and look like a transient's underwear.
