S5 t2 popup issues

My popups pop up as soon as I turn the car on and then flips back down like 30 seconds after the car is turned off. The previous owner said to replace the flasher CPU but I'm not 100% positive if that's it or not. Any ideas how to fix this? I pulled a flasher CPU out of a s4 very but the plugs don't fit :/

Thanks!!

Not sure why you'd first suspect the turn signals when you have a headlight problem.
Try another headlight switch.

Your issue is likely caused by the retractor relay inside the headlight switch or the alarm unit found within the CPU. If the CPU/alarm is the cause then you could try grounding the Black/Green wire at the headlight switch or find the same wire at the CPU (found in the largest CPU plug and in one of the four corners of the plug) to do this and then turn the car on while leaving the headlight switch alone and see if the lights stay retracted or not and if they do then you have isolated your problem.

Also, ther are 4 wires at each retractor. For the lights to stay down requires Red/Yellow wire to have voltage to it. For the lights to pop up the voltage on the R/Y wire disappears and then voltage on the Red/Blue wire occurs.
