Exclamation manual boost controller INstall, help?

hey, im trying to install a hks manual boost controller on my 13bt 91' dont know how...
a vacum diagram or sometin would help, thanks

i got a smiliar question i have the turbonetics manual boost controller and forgot which was is in n out on the turbo side

While normally I'd agree with you, if they are done right, manual boost controllers are just as safe as any electronic gadget out there.

I would also be curious to see a diagram of some sort as I will be running rtek 1.5 untill 2.0 comes out as well as intake full exhaust boost gauge and a mbc

Very twitchy to set, and prone to causing boost spikes. 1/8 turn can sometimes be the difference between 10 and 25 PSI.

I understand it being hard to set, but how does it cause boost spikes?

Because they're an open loop device. If you set it to 8 PSI, there's nothing to stop it from jumping to say, 15, if the weather is cold.
