Which manual boost controller to get?

Was looking at either a hallman or joe p MBCs and was wondering if anyone has these (or another MBC) in their cars that they swear by. If so, what do you like about it? Was it easy to install?

I'm just trying to decide which would be a good fit for my car.. Any help/advice appreciated!

A MBC is an easy installation. I have a Hallman remote on my S5 that can be adjusted from inside the car. No problems.

Before you look into boost controllers, is your boost already creeping right now? What kind of exhaust do you have?

not sure if boost is creeping per se. How would I tell? Currently, I have a 3" full exhaust (Apex'i N1 can I think) and an AEM boost gauge. The previous owner of the car has thing wired for max non-performance. As soon as the turbo starts spooling the wastegate starts opening; thus, I get ~5psi boost @WOT when (if my understanding is correct) I should be @ or close to 10psi.

this is good. it means your wastegate is probably flowing enough, so an MBC will be safe
