got my car all back togther after being worked on all winter long. toped everything off and made sure the battery was charged. got in it and got ready to start it up. cranked it and she started right up. got out and was looking around. heard something wierd so i shut it off. went to the front of the car and looked under it. guess what i saw? a huge puddle of oil. damn it now what? so i got her back up on the stands and looked around. how stupid can i be? i forgot to tighten the oil cooler bolt on the rear of the block. i lost about 4 quarts of oil cause i forgot to tighten the bolt down. thanks for listening to me rant.

 

lol....over looking the obvious... always ends up kicking pepoles asses....I didnt tighten down my front oil cooler line to the block right when I first put my motor in...didnt loose no 4qts that fast but it leaked like hell...finally figured out the bolt really is supposed to be tightened....learning from your mistakes sucks! lol

 

LMFAO!!! **** man.. me and some dudes did that SAME **** the other week.. dont feel bad, happens to the best, LoL.

 

That's why we look around, test & smell for problems after any work.
A problem found is no sweat.
The only dumb thing would be to drive off without checking it over.

 

Try and look at it as a funny experience. Be more positive. These cars do it to us all! lol

 

yeah i thought it was funny myself, just kinda frustrating cause ive been working on it for about three months now. and now it wont start. this is starting to get to me, i think im getting a tick, lol. i just want it to run, lol.
