Open Hole On Tranny???????

OK SO I CHANGED MY TRANNY FLUID OVER THE WEEKEND, SWITCHED TO A SYNTHETIC, AND WHEN I WAS UNDER THE CAR I NOTICED THERE WAS AN OPEN HOLE ON THE BOTTOM PART OF THE TRANNY ABOUT 8-10" CLOSER TO THE ENGINE. I FELT INSIDE OF IT AND IT FELT LIKE I WAS FEELING GEARS OR SOMETHING WITH TEETH. I HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY FLUIDS LEAKING OUT AND WHEN I DRAINED MY TRANNY LUID IT DIDN'T SEEN TO BE LOW OR ANYTHING. CAN ANYBODY TELL ME IF THEY KNOW WHAT THIS IS, AND IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN OR SHOULD I FIND SOMETHING TO PLUG IT UP WITH. THANKS!

lol, thats the flywheel u were feeling, and no there are no fluids that are supposed to be in there. i belive its just a veiwing hole to look at the status of the clutch and flywheel.
