Making Cruise Control Work WIth S5 T2 Swap

Arrow Making Cruise Control Work WIth S5 T2 Swap

Ok, I got an 87 GXL with S5 T2 Swap. What do I need to make the cruise control Work? Any help would be highly appreciated.

I took a check valve from the NA TB and placed between the source and servo. The NA cable is about 2" to short. Have not found a cable yet. Need to visit the Pick n Pull and find a little longer cable. The CC servo looks generic, there has to be a mid 80's car with one that will work. May Clocker knows, he has a yard near by.

so other than the cable being short nothing else shouldn't be a problem?

I haven't found a longer cable to test yet. It worked before the swap. I have an extra GSL-SE cable that has a different end on the servo side. I'm going to try it to see if the system will preform.

The last thread many years ago that asked the same question, I suggested a vacuum reservoir can because if you use the cruise control switch to accelerate, it will fail due to lack of vacuum.

Or even if you go slightly uphill.
