Ls1 Rx7 header options

So I’ve been searching for header options for my ls1 Rx7. And I’ve only managed to find CXracing headers but price is ridiculous $1600!!!! Not gonna happen i recently was talking to another Rx7 owner who went single turbo ls1. Says that the hooker headers bolted in perfectly no interference at all just that it’s a ls1 single turbo setup not N/A.

That got me thinking can I run that same turbo exhaust header setup but instead install a normal exhaust header on the passenger and keep the turbo exhaust header on the left side since it routes towards the back. This avoids any issue with steering shaft while going Ls1 N/A.

please Any feedback would be appreciated thanks

You can buy BBK mustang headers and put LS1 flanges on them, or buy the New Ronin swap headers coming to market.

checkout norotors.com or the V8 sub forum here.

You are not going to have any issues with the steering shaft. You’ll need to clearance the firewall on the passenger side.

Bbk headers I’ll look into those do you know which ones are my best option such as shorty long tube or size I’d appreciate it if you Have a part # I can use as a reference.

after searching found bbk 1516 headers was a popular choose idk if it’s the correct fitment for fc chassis tho

I was told that the steering shaft was the issue with getting any headers to fit
