Talking Header advise

Ok as soon as I figure out which header will be better I am ordering it so the question is which header should I purchase the road race or the streetable header from racing beat.... also the header will be going on a large street ported motor with Nitrous and other goodies

My experience shows no real gains from a header, unless you are doing true duals.

If you are planing on true duals then, you will want the road race header.

You'll probably want streetable header if you don't plan on fabbing your own custom exhaust (like true duals). I had their streetable header and presilencer unit and I liked it very much.

Headers take advantage of better intake flow (such as racing beats carb setup. (they state this on their website). They don't really provide a big gain over stock if thats your only mod. But your streetport should mate nicely with the streetable header.

I think headers over a cat pipe only made like 4 hp, but still, its something. Does anyone have a link to that thread where they dyno'd em? im just repeating what ive heard bout it... I personally dont believe in true duels, so id go with the streetable, but if you do go with the road race, your choice. Also a large streetport might need more then the 2.5 inch exhaust, or duel 2 inch exhaust depending on how large it is.

I'd go for true duels, you can get them made at Midas, and they will be pretty cheap, before I sold my car thats what I was gunna do
