Question lowering and wheel size question??

i have an 87 non-turbo and i was wondering if these damn things can even be lowered at all...i can't even fit my head under it as it is. and there doesn't appear to be much room to be lowered because the wheel well has almost no room to go down anymore...and i was also wondering what the maximum size the tire/wheels could possibly be. tire specs and the wheel size itself...thanks...gerry

sounds like your shocks and springs are dead. it shouldn't be that low. if you bought new shocks and lowering springs your car would probably be higher...

no i don't think they are dead, because the suspension is very stiff still and its pretty smooth also so i think that its just that either i have a fat head, hahaha or its a just a ow car, at least lower than any of the other cars i have had

They are fairly low with stock suspension, but will look better if you lower it a bit with nice rims. On the back you can fit quite large rims without lowering, like 18x8 or something like that, not sure about the front though. Get some 17x7.5's and that'll be awesome once lowered a little bit, or 18's if ya like bigger.
