lower intake vac lines?

What are the two vac lines on the backside of the lower intake manifold... and do I need them?

Note: I plan on removing a bunch of the vac lines that are not important...

The lower of the two vac lines on the lower intake manifold. Its supposed to go the the upper intake manifold... where? on the larger vac fitting towards the firewall?

your emissions blocked off? one vac line is where the upper meets the lower use it for bov and boost sensor all others block off except one on back by firewall for the fpr on the fuel rail there is one in the middle of intake that is usually used for omp but its under uim.
u dont need any of that emission crap unless ur in cali. block it all of if it isnt already all the rats nest too

Turbo...I figured it out, the lower of the two goes to to the upper intake manifold and the other one goes to the FPR. thanks for the replays!!!

Do you know if i need the twin scroll solenoid? its the green one... I have already yanked all the other solenoids and the rest of the emissions stuff. I'm currently in the process of removing the spider vac lines.

you do need the twin scroll solenoid if you still have the flapper in or either remove it and wire it open , or if u can weld and have access to a mig remove flapper and weld hole closed. while ur in there port the inlet side of the exhaust on turbo and wastegate too!!

in the rats nest lines you need to either keep the oil line intact for the turbo or run new line. its the steel line from drivers front side of engine that runs to the turbo just leave the other vac line thats welded to it there and block off the vac lines thet hook to it one is in the turbo inlet duct
