ok, i installed a new oil gauge last week. I was reading great oil pressure. Now I am reading 25 @ idle and 50 at like 4K. That sucks. I am also leaking some oil right around the oil metering system lines that go into the engine (right where the OMP rod is). I removed my lines and plugged the ends becasue I premix. I think that it is just leaking out of those plugs but could this be a source of low oil pressure? What about that e shaft pellet prob I used to see?

 

i had a bad oil perssure problem the gauge read at zero pressure at idel i instaled a k&n high performance filter
and 20w race oil now it reads just below 30 at idel

so try a high flow oil filter and some good race oil
