Low idle

Alright, I'm completely stuck on this one. I have an 88 TII and lately once the car warms up, after about 10-15 minutes of driving around town, the idle drops down to about 500 RPMs and sometimes even dips low enough that the car stalls out. I've sprayed around in the engine bay with starter fluid to check for air leaks and didnt find anything that way. I'm not sure what it could be and its even stranger because it only does it after the car warms up. Any ideas?

Raise the idle speed. Then it wont drop so low. Drive it then stop in a parkin lot when its idling at 500rpm, and turn the idle adjust screw to bring your idle up.

Should idle just the same. You can also check the make sure your bypass air control valve is functioning, it's possibly it's stuck closed.

Get the engine HOT. Idle the car. Pull the bac plug off the...bac. Did the engines rpm fall?? Rise??? If it remained the same, then the bac ain't a working. Look in the plug for the bac. Is one of the sockets pushed back?? If so...repair same.

Bottom line./.....your bac is NOT working at all. Fix it.

I'm having exactly the same problem on my 88 TII.
I just took it to the shop, and they told me the Air Control Valve is shot.
Anyone know where to get a cheap one? The only place I've seen them (other than the dealer) is Mazdatrix for about $460.
