I believe it's a solid wire that gets tied into the main engine wiring harness. (the big one), but memory might not be serving me properly.

After consulting my FSM (Wiring section, page 50-40, for those playing along at home) It appears that it goes directly from the radiator, and the only connection then is into the the gauge cluster. it goes radiator connection>harness to gauge cluster>gauge cluster. there's only those two connections in the chain. I do remember that that wire was sorta isolated from the rest, and subject to breaking. I'd guess its' snapped or grounded out on something. Start tracing it back, you should be able to find it, I'd think.

LoL....you amuse me when you post

I think you are mostly right. I havent looked under my hood for a while at that wire, but I know it goes from the top of the rad towards the passenger side of the engine bay....and then connects up with the wiring harness (IIRC). Just trace it like Wonko said and see where it leads you.

Disconnect the buzzer? But im not sure if that buzzer is ONLY used for the coolant...so let's see what others have to say.

Just ground the wire. It comes from by the air filter. I found mine had broke but was still hanging on by the insulation.

That buzzer is also for low oil, I wouldn't disconnect it. Hell, I would never run my car without the low coolant sensor working properly, but I guess others will.
