low boost

Ok I need some help. I can only get like 0.5 BAR of boost with my profec turned all the way up. No matter what it won't go higher. Is it because of my mods? Is my wastegate maybe stuck open? How can I check that? Any help will be great.

Did you make sure you have the little switches switched the right way according to your configuration on the back of the unit?

I'll double check but they were all right before. Guess they could have been moved. Let me eliminate that. Be right back.

Hmmmm, are you sure you have all the vacuum hose in the right place? Probally but I might as well ask. Where do you have the sharpness **** adjusted too? Id start off with it in the middle.

I've had it everywhere. Right now I have it as sharp as it will get. Seemed to get the most boost that way.

Installed which? The boost controller or the turbo? Before the turbo I had zero boost since my old turbo blew. But before my old one went, my BOV was louder and I was at a rock solid 7.5psi without using my BC. With my boost controller I could go up as high as I wanted.

Ok, messed with my boost controller every which way. Can't get any more boost. I must have some sort of a leak somwhere or my wastegate is stuck open. How can I check the wastegate? Also, I hear a swooshing of air out somewhere near where the ACV was when the car turns off. Any ideas where/how to check? This would be under vacuum at idle and boost when I get into boost right? Like if it was a vacuum source? Can I spray some carb cleaner around to see?

Not sure but the sound is either coming from the back of the UIM or the side where the ACV was. Can't pinpoint it. I put some fuel injector cleaner in to try and get rid of this hesitation I've been having, as well as flooding(which it never used to do until it started hesitating). Damn car will never run right

Can I get a guru? How can I check to see if the wastegate is stuck open or something?
