TID mod. You will hear it spool VERY loudly. Don't do it unless you have your fuel undercontrol though.

gsracer is right. The mod is very good for performance too. It does make that lovely noise a lot louder.

Take off the downpipe, and run no TID on the turbo. It will be very loud, also might suck dirt into the engine..... Id recommend keeping a filter on it

would I see a good increase in performance from putting a cone filter directly on the turbo VS the tid mod? or will it not be much at all?

You cant run a filter directly over the turbo unless you are running a VPC or standalone . You have to put the filter on the AFM , or the car will basically just be a big vaccum leak and it wont run .

A nice TID and that Supermegaflow on it should make a nice loud spool sound .

I know. I am building a megasquirt which uses MAP sensor tech. so what about performance again?

You dont need a write up. Stick pipe onto turbo, afm onto pipe, filter onto afm.

Get one of those little ricer noisemakers that fit inside the muffler. Put it in your intake.

Also, you can take some chips out of your compressor and/or turbine wheel. Then it'll wail...

u kno u guys reminded me of this one muffler i saw in i think a JCWhitney catalog. it was by like some orange company with a toucan as for logo i think. neway the muffler has a little turbine in the tip, so everytime u rev, the exhaust gases spool up the turbine at the tip of the muffler an u get this cool "turbo sound" cool huh?
