loud exhaust-quick fix?

my exhaust is way too loud for my fat *** land ladys taste. i need to quiet it down and stat. im really poor so something under like 100 would be awesome. its a 3" turbo back with a resonator and can style muffler. no silencer in the tip. i was told a silencer wouldnt really help at low rpm so any ideas on what muffler i should jam in there or if a silencer would actually work?

does it have catalytic convertors or test pipes? put a cat on it if it doesnt have one. other than that... put the stock exhaust back on. Thats your options for under $100.

Yeah, it should. The pair of silencers that came with my dual cat-back make a big difference.

If you can find a silencer that fits right, it might do it. They're pretty cheap. $10 plus shipping on eBay...

those make the mufflers look gay. it will cut your airflow down to stock so might as well just get a stock exhaust system.

yea a silencer really would hlep. I have a corksport exhaust and they are notrious for being extremely loud. When I put the silencer in it makes a huge difference it is much quieter under 3500. But I don't like the design of the silencer it rattles a little bit because it only bolts on one side.

Besides slapping in a silencer you could have a resonator welded up. The price for that would vary depending on where u go.

add another resonator to your exhaust setup. A catyl.itic converter setup might cost a littel more than 100

I have a resonator and it helps abit, I also have these eichbahn muffler tips that have built in resonators. It does help, but my dynamax mufflers are almost shot inside, starting to get a aluminzed tinny sound. This will be myh 5th year on them.

The stock cat will quiet it down A LOT but also restrict flow.
A free flow cat will open up the exhaust flow but it will still be noisy as hell.
Try the Borla XR-1, it will dampen noise plus its straight through. A buddy in our crew ran one on his TII and it made a pretty big difference.
