Okay so while ive been waiting for the socket I pulled my car apart with intentions of painting the engine bay.. so far guards bumper front mount etc. are off as are the coil packs and wiring has been removed from the front. Should i disconnect the wiring at one end ? how much should be taken out

pulled engine apart today, definatly need one rotor and housing rest looks pretty good.

What else do I need to buy for the engine?

Oil seals water seals etc.

the other housings looks pretty good though. you should be fine with a rotor,housing, soft and hard seal kit

Maybe its just the pics or fact that I haven't had morning coffee yet, but that looks like a 3mm engine?

I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy at this stage.. New Rotor and slot to 3mm seals.. New housing..

I'm assuming that I shouldn't reuse the apex seals on the old good rotor?

New oil and water seals, new banjo washers etc.

Just did the fuel filter as well.

I don't wanna go all out as money is the main issue but I don't want to cheap out on anything either

Update..

Engine is pretty much assembled, getting 2 1680cc injectors, koyo alloy radiator, sard fuel pressure regulator, wideband o2 sensor with gauge and will wire it up to microtech also. anything else i should consider getting?

Mods are:

Aftermarket GTR front mount with 2 1/2 alloy piping
500hp fuel pump
660cc primary injectors
1680cc secondary injectors
hks adjustable coilovers
full 3in echaust
series 5 hybrid turbo with t04 front cover
microtech lt-8 ecu
