lost a seal?
ikept my motor under 3800 for the first 500miles then up to 5000 rpm until 800 then under 5500rpm till 1200 then red lined twice a day after 1300, but all of a sudden car runs like crap ,and wont start unless push started.when she does run she make a popcorn sound like an srt4 but not as fast and somehow my motor KNOCKS!!!!! when coming back donw from a revup, whats the deal???

Sounds like you're running on 1 rotor. Hope you had someone do the rebuild for you, so you can take it back and make them do it right this time.
Unless of course it's turbo, and you overboosted it? If it is, what fuel setup are you running, and how much boost?

my fault for not stating my set up, im running a ported NA with stock fuel< t2 secondary injectors, and i did the rebuild witht he guidence of a friend of myne who has done many a rebuild, i followed the break in like he sayd to, im also running, atkins apex seals, thermal pelet, solid corner seals, fd corner seal springs, its doesnt sound like 1 rotor, i have even comp from both rotors, not using a comp guage but took the plugs out and listend to it, and both have strong even pulses,ive driven a 1 rotor before, and i have more power than that way more, but its no where near what i had befor its started doing this.
well i did the comp test and heres the numbers i got the front rotor was at 60psi on all 3 faces,(i was told that i dont have enough miles on my motor for it to have full compression) but the rear never broke past like 15psi on any faces,what do i do? is this a sign of what , not a lost apex seal cuz i dont have one face with more comp than the others, what could it be? all 3 are low.im ready and willing to pull the motor , if i have to, thanks for all your help>
yeah ive heard to never go above 3 till 1500 and change oil at 250 after rebuild. this is the first time i have ever heard ofr taking it in steps like that. altho i am glad to read this i think i might use it to my advantage, sorry about the loss bro i just got done rebuilding mine so i have my fingures crossed.

i was told this by the guy who taught me to rebuild my motor, he does the same with his, and the same with all he rebuilds, i did change the oil at 250 then agian at 900.( my comp was down)-YUDAYA (OP)

but i ketp mine under 3k rpm to be safe i was gonna do that til i hit 2k miles..
so i might of over rev it
could the use of new seals cause my comp not to be that great yet?or is somethings wrong?btw way im about to head out side and pull the manifolds and visually inspect the seals through the exhaust,i have a lift and this will be my 6th motor pull , so i might just pull it out and look at it better,
well all the apex seals are good none are stuck or blown, so do i crack her open, is there anyway i can use the seals again? the water jacket orings>or no cause they allready set and heated?
You're car won't knock if you let off the gas from a rev, it's backfiring. Does it idle steady? Is the engine violently shaking? Need to know these things!
Let's humor the situation and say it's not blown, it sounds like you are running stupid rich, and your car is badly flooded, hence the reason you need to push start it. You may have a stuck injector. When you pulled the plugs were they soaked and smelling like gas?

I see you did state that you know what 1 rotor feels like... maybe. Anyway, why are you running Turbo injectors? Even with a port, you probably don't need them. I think you need to try a deflood, and change your oil!

ok ,well for starters i know what a backfire is , and this is a literal knock,like literally sounds like someone is hitting it from the inside with a hammer, it never idled steady, until warmed up, no it doesnt shake violently, i have the fuel pump and injection,on switches, so its not flooded, also no the plugs were not wet with gas, i just swapped all my injectors, im running a big street port, with stock primaries ,and ran stock secondaries for a while and had recently put in t2 secondaries, i changed my oil at 300milkes and again at 1000, i have 1500 miles on my rebuild when this happened. also what about the solid 60 psi on the front all 3 faces and the rear being even on all 3 as well but at super super low psi, its gettin full spark, and injectors are 2 new and 2 flowed and tested
i pulled the motor today to get a great look at the apex seals and all 6 are great none are blown, also i heard that someone had lower comp with the solid corner seals, could puttin them in backwards do anything?

oh sorry forgot to mention i drove the car to my machanics shop, whenhe called me the next day he said the da front rotor was at"0" and the rear was at "65"
so i dunno if it lost compression after i drove it to his shop, or my tester was not acurret
