Lost my key...

I lost the key to my FC. Sad story, I know... anyway. I am just saying **** it and probably getting a new ignition and key. Would an 89-91FC ignition + key work in an 87 FC?

yes, the dealer can make you one, but it will probably cost more than a parts car

also depends on what year and style the key is. i know for my 2000 VW jetta a new key is 200+ bucks cause of some computer chip bullshit.

I had my keys replaced by the dealer, and they didn't charge me a dime unless I wanted the black plastic end. Then it was going to cost me $5.

Just needed to give them my VIN. Not sure what the problem is.

Great internet sales dealer is Ralph Hatley at Almenden Mazda (new San Jose. Excellen price on parts, and I'll bet he'll help you out.
