Losing fuel pressure

Could it be that my aeromotive FPR is bad?? When I'm at full boost no matter how much more fuel I add the car leans to 13:1 afr and I my fuel pressure gauge does a nose dive and bounces off zero. What could lead to this??

Forgive Iceblues cryptic post, he is a moron.

What he meant to say was:

You either ran out of fuel as in you dont have any more fuel pump left to keep up with your fuel demands

OR

your pump is starting to give out due to age/wear

OR

Possible your FPR took a nosedive, but thats not likeyl.

How about you give us your mods, including your pump/injector size/PSI demands/etc...

Well I have an aeromotive a1000 with 1000cc primaries and 1680 secondaries. It used to do the same thing when I was running a denso pump, that's when I upgraded to the a1000. Just wanting to know if there could be anything else that could cause a loss in fuel pressure. Thank you

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge or are you basing your "fuel pressure" problem on the fact that you can't go richer?

My car runs extremely rich all the time but i've seen it on the dyno twice after I supposedly fixed the fuel pressure problem but the needle( on the fuel pressure gauge mounted to the FPR), when I start surpassing 8psi, starts dropping and it get's lean all of a sudden. It's a weird problem and my only thought is now that maybe I'm losing voltage, because of my S4 alt, or my FPR is going bad.

isn't it possible that you're dumping so much fuel that your fuel line pressure drops and you also simply can't supply enough fuel? that's probably not a good thing to sustain for long, but it makes sense that it could happen...

How is your wiring setup? I don't know about the a1000 pump...if it's plug and play like the walbro's then you may need to rewire the pump?

Relay to the pump, check your fuel filter.

Running 13:1 isn't good under boost, quit that before you blow it up.

if you have 13+ volts at idle at the fuel pump you should have that or more while boosting.
