Exclamation Loosing Coolant Under Uim!!!

so the car is a 88 10th ae with minor mods. all sensors have beend blocked off the uim. i have both or the coolant ports blocked( the one on the rear housing and the one on the back of the waterpump) that orignally went through the bac valve.ONLY on cold starts am i loosing coolant somewhere under the uim. everytime i pull the intake off to look all the cups on the lim are just full off coolant. im running out of things to look for that are leaking coolant any suggestions?

Yeah, replace the gasket and o-ring. Also, it's spelled "losing" not "loosing."

my car was doing the same thing. the cap i used to plug the nipple on the waterpump housing was brittle and leaking. i ran a new line from the rear iron nipple to the waterpump housing and its been fine ever since.

yea sorry about the spelling im at work and was just posting real quick. yeah im going to try an run a line from the waterpump to the rear housing and see if that is it first. the motor only has aprx 15,000 miles on it so im pretty sure the o-rings are still ok. plus the lim is not to fun to take off because im running a knightsports hybrid turbo. but if that line doesnt fix it im gonna try that(just trying to narrow it down to simple stuff first.)
thanks for the quick replies though. ill keep this updated.

ok looks to be the coolant o-rings in the lower intake. sucks bc they and the motor only have aprx 15,000 mile on em but whatever looks like ill be spending a day tearing it all apart. i did a pressure test with the uim off and could see coolant coming up in between the lim and the block.
