looping idle problem

having a looping idle problem. car idles at about 1000rpm. sometimes it will loop between 1000-1400rpms. really annoying. any ideas on what may cause this? tps is set to 1000ohms and ive tried adjusting the bac but not sure how to. turning the screw seems to have no affect on the idle. no vacuum leaks. and no air intake leaks. anything im missing? and engine isnt throwing any codes. another wierd problem im having is when i engage the clutch my idle goes up to like 1500rpms. even putting just a slight bit of pressure on the clutch makes the idle go up. i know i have a bad clutch so would that cause that?

I think the TPS is suppossed to be at 1ohm not 1000 maybe the BAC is bad already. Other than that I don't know.

no bad clutch would prob not cause that but that same exact thing happend to my car but it went a step further...when i put the clutch in...it sometimes shot up to 3000rpm or even a couple time at 6500rpms!!! it scared the crapola outta me...but i reved it a little and it went back down...keep fiddling with the idle screw...and also...put some lube or grease or something on the thing in the engine that makes the car ev when you push it...it could be stuck like mine was...gerry

thats what my idle problem is. Up and down, up and down, over and over. It does it all the time though, not just once in a while. pisses me off.

it also happens to me when the car is cold...when i first start it up...it goes from like 500 to 2000 and back and forth between those and then when its a little warm its stays at about 1500 for like 5 min and then it goes down to the stock idle of 750...its a very bad sounding thing...it may be nothing...you should prob bring it to a rotary specialist and see what they have to say
