looking for an engine torque brace

I did a search, and came up with a link to fcstore.com and an engine brace from there. I've been to the site before, but now it appears down. Anybody know where I could get one of these braces? I don't want what Maztatrix has, as that's like $220. The engine brace I'm thinking of is just that, no strut bracing, and only about $60. Any links or pointers would be appreciated.

Buy it at Racingbeat: http://www.racingbeat.com/

I just got one but haven't installed it yet. $65 plus shipping. I heard they work wonders. Anybody want to reinforce that for me?

Thanks! geez, I didn't even know about Racing Beat's website...

Ordered...and hopefully this fixes my problem, as new engine mounts did not

According to the installation instructions I got with mine, you have to drill one 3/8" hole in the side of the engine compartment.

doh! I hate drilling into anywhere on my cars. Oh well... So long as I don't hit tire or something on the way out with the drill

yeah me too! oh well. i guess i'll do it. with less engine torue movement in the engine bay, it supposedly sends more of the torque down the e-shaft instead giving you a bit more power when you engage the clutch. what do you think? bs?

it won't give you any more power, that part is BS. However, it will solidify the engine in the car, and you will get quicker throttle response. On top of that, any bucking from off/on gas movements should be greatly reduced, and any clutch shudder when moving from a stop should also be greatly reduced, if not eliminated.

That's what I'm hoping for, anyway
