looking for a daily driver

i know a few people who have fcs as daily drivers. they dont seem to have as much trouble with them at all as apposed to fds. i want something more practical then my fd but dont want another worry bucket. i want a 4 seater for sure if not just something thats good on gas wich means something else either then a second gene. all and all im looking for the best mix of cheap, practical, and more reliable then my car right now. i got a fealling i wont be getting a second gene after a couple of your guy's post. lol

Then why are you posting this in the second gen section because even an NA FC has neither? This should be in the lounge if you don't want a second gen. Get a 96-00 Civic hatchback. Great on gas, reliable, and still fun to drive with a little suspension work done.

i thought the second gens up until 91 were all 4 seater's? and i do want an fc but I'm looking at need rather than want. if i can mix the two, great. if not oh well.

Nah man, only a small number of FCs in the US had back seats, if you want to call them that. The back seats are considered only fit for "legless dwarfs" as they say. You may be able to find a pair of backseats used and replace your rear bins with them but no one will fit. And gas mileage is not that good on these cars, even in NA form. My NA has been very reliable after 2 years of daily driving though.

Gas millage - not so great

Back seats are doable, but really painful. They are great for your groceries, but that's about it. There's just not enough room.

i have an fc with the rear seats. i think that's what your looking for, a 2+2. ill be starting school in riverside this fall so my car is up for sale. pm if interested.

if you want something practical and with good gas mileage i have to say get a honda, i still remember when i had my 1994 integra, great gas mileage and it was fun as hell to drive it.
