Logicon Unit & Wiper problems

my entire logicon and wiper switch shut off together every now and then. It is just them that stop working, and they always stop at the same time.

What could be causing this? Cold solder joints? If so, in what?

Just a thought, but next time it happens, try turning the ignition key counterclockwise just a hair. I have that problem on mine, it's just something wrong in the switch. It takes out my logicon, wiper switch and I can't remember what else. It's not enough of a hassle to fix so I live with it.

is it the solder joints on the back of the switch or the internal contacts
