Logicon (ON/OFF) SWITCH!!

OK...here's the situation. If I move the (on/off) fan switch to ON it SOMETIMES comes ON and clicks OFF OR stays ON ; But most of the time I have to resort to PRESSING IN ON EITHER THE (on/off) SWITCH OR THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE LOGICON to get it to come on. Now ONCE AGAIN, when I do get it to cut on it mostly just clicks off. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice (all connections are tight). GURU'S??????????

Thanks for any help

Do you mean you switch on the air conditioning??? The air conditioning button is in the top righ hand corner of the logicon.

But that has nothing to do with Logicon operation. Just air conditioning operation.

And to operate the air conditioning, you do need the fan to be on. If it was not, and the vent closed you could freeze the whole air conditioning core.

OFF < MAX switch

Icemark; I'm talking about the the switch that you move horizontally from OFF < MAX. I have to press in on that SWITCH or any upper RIGHT hand corner part of the logicon to get it to cut on (and don't forget, it almost always cuts back off). NO PROBLEMS WITH THE A/C AND HEAT BUTTONS.

ANY IDEAS?????
THANX; BROCK

Icemark, brock is refering to the same problem I had when I pm'ed you about my logicon, situation, which is identical. I belive hes speaking of the vertical "arrow" that flickers on and off, and if you tend to push on them they somtimes stay on better light wise, but you suggested soldering or something of that sort, and you could also change teh colors to like uv blue if he/she so desires.

I have rebuilt ones with double the Mazda warrenty available on my website.

But yes, it sounds like if you have to hold the fan speed slider to make the fan work, that you have a broken slider or control board in the logicon.

The light itself is only on when the parking lights are on, but yes if that is flickering, it just needs resoldering.
