Lock lug nut issues

so i was trying to take my wheel off the other day to check some stuff on the ol ride and it seems whoever had the car before me got the lock lug nut put on way too tight and there is no way i can get it off with the bar the car comes with or even a breaker bar or torque wrench! i was gonna see about maybe going to a shop to have them take it off but if i can keep from doing that it'd be awesome!

Is that you in the pic? LOL

Anyways you need to hold force against it, maybe you could use the end of your foot (with shoes on) and it should pop off, use some WD40 or so, wipe off the inside of the lock nut as good as possible so you don't add to slippage.

Basically put some muscle into that

The lock nuts arnt very deep, thus if you don't hold force...

yeah i've been doing that! i forgot to mention the part the key goes into is slightly stripped making it hard to put any real force on it without it popping out ...

Oh yeah...
well theres patterns to bolting tires n unbolting I think too... I been up like 50hrs no sleep so sorry i cant help much

try to clean up the inside of the key (get alittle metal file) be gentle.... keep putting it in with your hand and see if you can get it to fit better, do you have the other nuts tightened? I think the one with the lock goes first when you remove and last when you put them on

sorry i dont remember man

Have you heard of an Impact Driver?
they are like a little hand-screwdriver sized Thingie that is used to get Things like the screws on the Rotor face off.**** like that
My Idea is to Make a cut on the top of the Locking lug nut, like a Slot. Then you get one of those Impact drivers and WHACK!..
Reason why I mention that Tool,is you don't have Much room to Get at the Locking lug nut...ah,Just an Idea.

+1 on impact driver.
if you dont have one, get one. they are invaluable.
especially nice when you dont want the speed of an impact gun, but still want to get that **** off. especially nice is a 1/4 inch socket to put screwdriver impact bits in =]

Do yourself a favor and take it to a shop. Pref a shop that deals with wheels.
