A little boost creep? why?

Can someone tell me why i am boosting 15psi at 6000rpm in 2nd gear on a stock TII?

1988 TII

stock exhaust
stock intake
stock fuel pump
no porting or anything done to internals
stock turbo, intercooler, and setup.

Mods are as follows
Removed emissions (taken from rotary resurrection),
no cat
removed actuator

aftermarket stuff are,
ngk spark plugs & wires,
fuel injectors 550cc high impudence same as stock just from an aftermarket place,
boost guage,

uhhhhhhh a little boost creep? thats alot... plus without a fcd your motor should be cuting out... somethings wrong... might be your boost gauge.. cause once you hit 8.5psi you should be fuel cutting... which itself is bad.... only thing that I could see doing that is a stuck wastegate.... I have no cat and I only hit 5 psi (small vacuum leak and bent turbo fins)
you sure you don't also have a fcd? if so... and your boost gauge is correct... DON'T drive your car.... if you boost that high you are running lean as all hell and your motor should not still be in tack... you should have spit out a few apex seals already... I think your boost gauge is not reading correctly... dunno how it can be like 10 psi off though.

lol i know right, im not boosting all the way up to 15 anymore, i don't wan't my engine to die on me But i'v hit 15 psi at 6000rpm a few times cause i wanted to see how my car pulled. Not gonna be doing that anymore for a while. No i have no fcd, boost guage is tee'ed into UIM Nipple, w/ pressure sensor, and ABV. I'm pretty sure its reading correct, cause stock guage goes to 40+ and thats about as far as it reads :\ thing is i do get a bad hesitation when i floor the throttle, like the fuel cut is kicking in, but the it goes away and i contiune boosting. I'll look into a bad wastegate, hopefully its something easy like that. like a leak in my hose to wategate or something

well if it's simple boost creep, port your wastegate. It seems you have a few other things wrong though XDXDXD
