Limp mode every 15 minutes?

So I have this issue with going into limp mode after around 15-20 minutes of driving. Now turning the car off then back on fixes it for another 15-20 minutes. Now I have searched and come up with it being linked with the MOP. At the moment I am purchasing another MOP but my only question is, could it possibly be something else that would give these sames symtoms? I am going to see if I can pull some codes on this tomorrow to see if I can figure something out.

can also be the TPS but my bet is on the OMP.

+1 for pulling codes.

Even with the possibility of it being your OMP, I would address the issue BEFORE driving it again. Otherwise you'll be shopping for a new engine soon.

yeah, definitely premix the fuel for the time being if you really need to drive it until the issue is resolved.

i don't have much time right now to be re-rebuilding it, lol.

just add about 8 ounces of 2 stroke to the fuel tank and top off the tank and drive it a few miles to help mix it all thoroughly.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the OMP the only thing that physically causes the CEL light to illuminate on an S5?

not meaning to double post but anyway pulled two codes

14 and 27. So confirms that my MOP/OMP needs to be replaced. The 14 suggests possibly an ECU replacement may be needed however I am going to wait and see if replacing the MOP/OMP does the trick.

if the ECU is bad, and you hook up a good mop to it, guess what happens to the good mop?

I get a 14 and 27 constantly and even if the ECU is fine I am pretty sure the 14 is a different issue that needs to be address anyway so I will be getting a new ECU but can anyone elaborate more on what 14 deals with? all i know is Atmospheric Pressure Sensor (Inside of ECU).
