LIM question

LIM question

ok i have the oppurtunity to get an FD uim the guy says its made to fit an S5 lim. is the s4 and the s5 lim actually different? or can i get it to fit my s4 lim?

you can modify the uim to fit by drilling out the hole but i wouldnt recomend it since it would flow like **** from the intake runners not lining up

there are spacers available to make it match a s5 lim. you could try to port match them but it would be a PITA. the spacers are $200+

well thanks for the info but my question still goes un answered, are the s4 and s5 lim different? and this guy says its already modified to fit directly onto a s5 lim

I make the spacer to allow you to use the fd uim on a s5 lim.

the fd uim has better flow and just looks better and the only noticeable difference between s4 an s5 lim is the s5 studs are further apart and the intake runners seem to be different not sure if their bigger but i used to have an s5 lim with an s4 uim and the runners didnt line up quite right so i switched to both s5 i would recomend just getting the s5 lim

yea i saw it, nice product, but supposedly this guy already had it modified to fit the s5 lim so i dont think ill need one, but if i do ill know where to go
