I'm about 6 foot even and I have no problems and I don't think my brother did when he drove it either(he's 6' 2"), although if you sit straight up your head might be touching the roof. I guess if that's a problem you could buy some seats that sit a little lower?

I'm 6'2 and leg room seems to be just fine, seat needs to be tilted back though for a comfortable seat. You definetly get used to it.

right on cool thanks for the quick replies.. so leg room isn't a problem its the head room but the seat can always be placed lower (or get a diff seat)

I pretty sure you won't have a problem, FC's are the most confortable of all rx-7's when it comes to cabin space.

I think you'd just have to test drive one to see if its for you... if you can't fit an FC maybe grad an FD! just hope it works out for you

My old boss is 6'6. He got into my car no prob. He said he had to put the seat all the way back, and didn't know if it'd be all that comfy as a DD, but he had no probs putting it around the block and such.

um it would probably be a good idea to just sit in one and see for yourself most aftermarket seats actually sit higher than the stock seat.

I'm 6'5 and have to have the seat all the way back, leaned all the way back. But in my opinion the car fits like a glove.... +1 on gettting in one and finding out yourself!

I'm 6'3 and it fits me very comfortably. One thing that helped me be more comfortable though is getting a smaller steering wheel and spacing it closer to me.

whoops forgot to mention I sit at an almost 90 degree angle so with the seat back a bit it shouldn't be a problem.

The only real problem I had with my two RX7's is that I can't sleep comfortably in them. I'm 6'2 and I have no problem at all with head room or leg room.... On tell it comes to tossing that seat all the way back to crash after you been driving for two days strait... Have to scoot the seat back forward to lay the seat back far enough for sleep... But damn can that car old a lot of crap though. Hand almost all of my and my friends belongings in it for three times. And we had a lot of crap... Miss those two... even if they were frankenstined junkers that never quite ran right. They were still a tank!

im about 6'2, and i tend to have the seat a little more upright (so i can put the top down without playing with my seat) but slid all the way back, and I can use the car fine as long as i drive with thin-soled shoes (converses are about as thick as is enjoyable). Heel-and-toe-ing is only comfortable for me barefoot (i keep a pair of sandals in the car to slip on in case i get pulled over, illegal to drive barefoot but for me its safer/more comfy). I think if i reclined the seat more i'd fit a little better, and wouldnt hit my head on the top over large bumps, but overall I fit well.

I'm 6"1' and do not have a problem with the seat all way back and fully reclined in my Vert. Of course the seat does not recline very far in a vert. In order to solve the problem of my head hitting the roof when the top is up and going over a bump I have removed the interior panel that attaches to the Targa and cut off and ground down the plastic supports and painted it black. This adds about two more inches of clearance.

6'2" I sit straight in a fixed back full bucket. Only problems are with a helmet on, and those are not even noticeable when you're going WOT. I'm very far from sitting all the way back too.

If you're sitting in a good driving position, you should not have any problems. Most people who complain about legroom in cars don't know proper driving position. They also do it to make themselves feel even taller.

i have to admit though, my knees are closer than id like to the wheel. but you get used to it.

+1. I am 6' 3" and sit comfortably with the seat slid all the way back and leaned back almost touching the bins. I did get a smaller momo wheel with a spacer though. My knee used to "get stuck" between the e-brake lever (when engaged) and the oem wheel while getting in & out of the car.
