Leaky Injectors

I believe I have leaky injectors on my 87 GXL. Once in a while it is hard to start..even after a long road trip. I am assuming that the injectors are leaking and this floods the engine somewhat. I usually have to try to turn it over 5-10 times and\or hold the pedal to the floor before I can get it to start. It then stinks like gas. Usually if I put some injector cleaner in it is fine for a couple more tanks of gas and then starts again.

My question is this, what are my options...cheapest first:-)

Thanks,
Scott

Take out the injectors to send them to get cleaned. I think www.cruzinperformance.com is the cheapest place. It's not that expensive.

yeh, Rich (CruzinPerformance) is a good guy- he couldn't get one of my injectors to work right, so he deducted the amount of it from the total- but he put it through all the tests the others went through, and kept me informed via e-mail almost daily...

Should I pull mine or buy some and ship them

OK. So I will try this route http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html

Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Now, should I pull mine or buy some on ebay and ship them for fixing?

My concern is that if they are leaking....they might need more than cleaning. So pulling them and shipping them to him might be a waste of time. Should I be concerned with this or not.
