while your chaning your injector o rings, you might want to replace the fuel dampener with a 12mm x 1.25 banjo bolt. I'm doing that now. I'm told those things are the cause of engine bay fires.

ummm... as you can see in the pic, its already gone, or rather it was never there as this is an AM fuel rail.

cool. I ask because that is not the part that usually leaks fuel. Leaks there cause vacuum leaks more.

I believe the pressure from the rail is leaking through the o rings and dripping down. I think I noticed a few people's comments about changing those grommets, but that part isn't under pressure. That is all

OK then - You fork out nearly 20K for engine work that should be done correctly and then go buy another gasket set from Mazda and start taking it apart to make it work right

Got some sand in your vag or what? Cut the guy some slack.

lol. why would we have to use a seal kit if its just the tuning and vac plugs and injector grommet.
we'll stick to fixing what needs fixing.

if the guy wants us to cut slack. then er.. dont charge so much for his work.
that saying, you get what you paid for?

if you want it done right do it yourself. and thats what we are doing. unfortunatly. he doesnt know how to do haltech stuff. and at the time he didnt know how to do engine installs. so he handed it over to some one else. whats so worng with that?

Do some friggin research.

Jesus this **** isn't rocket science, it turning friggin wrenches. Monkeys can do it. For a lot less than what he paid.

Thats whats wrong with that.

You can attend classes for technical knowledge AND pay for the mods he received for less actually. WTF.

yeah dude, i've had sent the engine and trans out to be rebuilt by someone else, then figured out how to brop it in and connect the hoses(its really easy), the diff swap isnt that hard either, unbilt it, then lowe the subframe.

Then have it trailered to an authorized haltec dealer or whatever other shop you may need to do the rest of the install.

Although, its too late to go back now.

actually i know how to do a diff swap... it was the engine swap i was unsure about and at the time everything looked good on paper with LPS.

i am learning alot on the engine swap and hoses and vac lines from 87RX7chick,BDC and from couple people who are being very helpful on this site and from local Rotary owners in San Antonio.

i know its too late to go back so im going foreward and doing it with as much help as i can get to do it right . thank you for taking a min tho to post on this thread, i do apreciate any advice..even if it is an insult to me.
