Lds Again
As you can all see I am pretty new here. I have done some research (both on and off this forum) about the 91 fc havining lsd. From what i can see its not supposed to have it, but i have also read that some did come with it even though it wasn't advertised. Someone please point me in the right direction.

The story is, that Mazda says no it did not come with one unless it was a turbo.
However several of the members here, claim (although never independently varified) that their 91's with both A and B packages (fully loaded with Leather, 4 piston front brakes, rear cargo cover, etc) had them.
So the odds of you having a LSD are pretty minimal unless you have a turbo

It is not by any means a way to test to see if you have a LSD.
Hell I can pretty easy get both my rear wheels to spin and leave marks on my Tacoma Truck even with the differential unlocked and with 10.5 wide wheels

An easy way to tell: Jack up the rear-end, and turn one wheel by hand. If the other is going in the opposite direction, no LSD. If they spin the same, which most likely wont happen, your lucky and you have an LSD.

Need differential help!
Hey everyone! I also need some diff help.
I have a brand new N/A LSD diff that I got for a really good deal. I was told it would work on my s5 turbo II swap if I keep N/A axels and get a custom driveshaft. What do you guys think about this? Should I just try to find a Turbo II LSD or should I run this N/A one on my t2 swap?
It'll be a Turbo II engine and trans, to a custom driveshaft, to the N/A LSD with N/A axels. Can you guys give me your opinions and if you think it can handle the Turbo II? Thanks.

the swap isn't out of the question but the older clutch type non turbo LSD's aren't going to hold up well behind a turbo engine. it will be a marginal step up from what is probably already in the car, but i would hardly even call them limited slip anymore just from the tension loss due to age on the clutches.
