LC-1 narrowband sim problems
LC-1 narrowband sim problems
Just have a few questions about the NB sim wire. I have been messing with the output settings of my lc-1 to try and get the nb sim to act like a stock NB sensor. I also used the default settings on the NB sim with no success. I got the NB sim to produce a .6 volt signal around 14 AFR which I know is off but it shouldn't matter to the ecu. When I drive the car under light throttle only, with the NB sim connected, the car will accel for a half second then cut fuel for a half second for a total of about 5 seconds, then accel smoothly. Why is it doing this when the NB sim is producing a constant voltage between 0-1 volts? I have the update rate set to instant for the NB sim which I forgot to mess around with. Is the lc-1 sending too many signals to the ecu too quickly? Just wondering what everyone else uses for settings on their NB sim output. Thanks

easiest thing to do is just hook another narrowband sensor back up to the stock wire
Ok I remember how it cycles now but it doesn't explain why my NB sim isn't doing what it is supposed to. I know lots of people had problems with the lc-1 nb sim but I've searched and found no answers. Some people just hook it up and it works fine. I'd get a NB sensor and weld a bung into my downpipe but that is too expensive for me right now and this isn't a huge deal to me. I'm just trying to figure it out.
It is exactly what it is in the innovate manual.
Dont feel like taking a screenshot because the laptop I use crashes 75% of the time I try and run LM programmer.
Edit: This is what it looks like

just put a real narrowband in there. they are like $30 for a universal. have someone weld in a bung. it could be an electrical noise issue, which the LC1 is very prone to. Why deal with that when the factory o2 sensor wiring is properly shielded and has no problems when hooked up the way it was designed to be hooked up?

Ok so now it magically works. I loaded the factory defaults back in after moving some wires around and it seems to work fine. Im guessing it was just noise from another wire like you said
