so whats up with this law that there supposeofly gonna pass?? i heard they were thinking about passing a law that they would take ur license away and fine you $500 for ur first offense if you were caught street racing.....

I heard about that.
Lot of the young folks are getting their cars and acting all fast and furious. I see and hear it everyday. They just add to police being more aggressive to people with sports cars. State troopers here are getting more agressive on the highway too. Everything, clear lenses, exhausts, stickers, mostly anything aftermarket. A lot of accidents are occuring cause of the racing, and a lot of racing is being done on busy streets. Maybe each state should get a couple of racing circuits .

it will never happen a local cop here started week end
drags at an old air strip here county judge made him shut it down because of insurance reasons...total B.S.
sounds just like the damn government "were here to help you" ..uh..yea..right...
so now we are back to street racing on old county back roads late at night......

 

So borrow some money, rent or buy the air strip and charge $10 for a night a racing....

thats what i'm saying if they dont want us to race then help us out. a local drag strip or abandoned factory would be just fine. setup like a strip and have shoulders on the side so cars cant hit the crowd. make it like a race at own risk kind of thing. i think it would be better to know about the races and voluntry some time to help youngsters have fun then to have them race illegally adding more risk and danger to other drivers on the street. taking cars and fines isnt gonna do anything cause theres to many kids on the road. instead of trying to beat us they should join us.

 

Bitchen to us won't help your problem. You need to help your problem. Find a location, don't wait for someone else too. Don't whine that the local police or government should help you. Do it yourself. Here is a golden chance.

Find a place, Find out what it would take from the local government to put a track or something like it up. If the street racing in your area is bad enough that they want to regulate it, you should do something. Not just bitch about it. When did bitchn ever get you anything? I doubt anything since you were 8 years old.

 

The funny thing about this whole "dilemma" is that there is NO LOGICAL reason AGAINST this sorta law.&nbsp Street racing is illegal - how the hell are you going to argue otherwise?
