Largest turbo for Stock ports?
I'm thinking about a few turbo set ups and finding there is no way to select one turbo that will fit both of my needs i desided to have 2. Building a hybrid for auto x (well drifting but everyone is so touchy on the subject i don't wanna have to prove that i'm not the new kid on the boat) and a turbo set up for highway fun that i have been getting into as of late. I wanna try to use a greddy e-manage for the fuel (haltech later). I prefer that because i have heard good things and it uses a PC interface. super easy to understand and you can save a bunch of settings for each turbo set up and switch with a click. in other words i will have all the mods to support the lager turbo, tune it on the dyno, save the settings. remove the turbo (and manfold, lines blah blah) put the hybrid on and tune for that. what do you think? I'm 100% for real about this. If you have nothing to offer don't post.

I suggest you buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. That book will explain it.
I think a smaller turbo would be better for drifting during autoX. Small turbos give great abundant low rpm power and tq but lack upper end. Also small turbos cause excessive heat.
Large turbos are actually better heat wise for your engine, and provide good high end at the expense of less low end, or Lag if you will.
