Koyo Radiator Mounting Issue
Koyo Radiator Mounting Issue
So I bought a Koyorad R-Core Radiator and was installing it yesterday and it doesn't mount up at all. It has a screw at each corner of the radiator, but it should mount on the sides. Was I supposed to receive a bracket or anything with this? Do I need to build a custom bracket? When i bought it, it said "little to no modification" but seeing as there is nothing to mount it, I feel I'm missing something. Has anyone else had this problem?

I also removed the bracket from the the old radiator and tried to mount it to the koyo and it didn't fit. The screws were too far apart, and even if I were to drill new holes it would be too wide to fit. Do I need to cut it and re-weld it onto the koyo or something???
Did you buy it off of ebay, or from a legitimate source? The side straps from from the original radiator should bolt right on. This is the standard 53mm single pass Koyo, right? The straps fit mine perfectly.

Got mine used off ebay and I had to grind off the old mounts on my stock rad (aftermarket copper) and even they fit well. Got any pics of this rad/ bracket?
It's definitely a legit Koyo Radiator. Its just the brackets I had weren't OEM. I got some from a friend and it mounted up perfectly. So it's now installed, just need to wire up the Flex-A-Lite E-Fan. Looks so much better than my old setup. I can post pics later... although I'll prob just put the pics on my build thread. Although I got a product line sheet with the raiator and see that they have the "N-Flo Radiator" for the fc. I wish I would've spent the extra $$$ and got that one cuz it passes through the radiator twice. It's worth checking out. And for drifting, I could prob run all day with that radiator. but we'll see how this R-Core does. Should definitely be better than stock haha.
