did anyone have to cut theirs? mine does not seem to be fitting?

 

and i do mean the duct in front of the airbox

 

I trimmed a little of the plastic off the front edge of the intake snorkel when I had the airbox in my car. It only hit where the bracket is in the middle of the radiator.

 

yeah does that affect performance? what did you do it with?

 

How would trimming some plastic affect performance? I'm not talking about cutting into the portion that air flows through; just the bit that sticks out too far to clear the radiator.

 

Mine fit OK ... except the inlet area is a little back from the stock position ( about an inch) . Doesn't effect anything , hood closing etc.
